Vaarojen majat

Vaarojen majat offers a unique accommodation experience in Tentsile tree tents in the picturesque landscape of Rautavaara. There’s floating tree tent accommodation in two different locations – in the stunning lakeside scenery of Kiparinranta and at the Metsäkartano near Lake Tiilikkajärvi National Park. The tents sleep between one and three people.

You can enjoy the peace and quiet of nature with your own group, as there’s only one tent at the time on Kiparinranta and up to two on Metsäkartano. You can stay in the tree tents with your own equipment or rent equipment from the Vaarojen majat. As an additional service you can also book picnic food.

The accommodation experience can be combined with hiking in Rautavaara’s varied hiking destinations. For a shorter relaxation – for example in the middle of a day’s hiking – book a three-hour nap in the floating tent.
