High-quality entertainment

Kuopio City Theater is the largest professional theater in Eastern Finland. From the beginning of September to the end of May, the theater season includes musicals, drama, humor, children’s shows and high-quality shows from many popular visitors.

Entertainment and great emotions are served on two different stages. Most of the performances are in Finnish, but language issue does not stop theatrical enjoyment, as many performances, especially the musicals, are full of great things to see – scenes, costumes, dancing – and listen  – orchestral music and singing.

Kuopio City Theater is located only few blocks from the market square.
