The largest camping site in the region of North Savo is Matkailukeskus Rauhalahti, located south of Kuopio’s city center on the shores of Lake Kallavesi. This popular campsite offers a wide range of caravan spots, cozy cabins, a tent area, restaurant services, boat moorings, a pleasant sandy beach with a grassy area, and plenty of activities for the whole family. It is easily accessible from the nearby highway, and there are both bus and water connections to the city center.
