Museum & Holiday Centre Aholansaari

Historical destination in the vicinity of Tahko. A holiday resort, restaurants, ‘Paavon Pirtti’ home museum of a farmer and revivalist leader in the 1800s, the summer vicarage of Kleofas Hyvämäki built in the early 1900s, an 800-seat church and much more interesting things to see.

During the summer and autumn seasons, all services are available, and the island can be accessed by boat from the Sääskiniemi pier. In winter, there is a trail café along the ice track on the island, open during the winter holiday weeks 8-10.
