Liiga ice hockey in Kuopio

KalPa is a ice hockey team from Kuopio. The team has long traditions as it was founded in 1929 and specialized in ice hockey in the 1950’s. KalPa plays hockey at the highest Finnish level, Liiga. KalPa Hockey Oy manages not only the men’s Liiga team but also the U20 team.

KalPa plays its home games at the Olvi Areena in Kuopio. The arena has a capacity of 5 300 people and also has separate wheelchair spaces.
