Kuopio’s Travel Center Portti

Kuopio’s Travel Center Portti serves travelers who use public transport. The station tunnel connects the bus station and the railway station into one passenger-serving entity, the Travel Center.

Accessible pedestrian route from Asemakatu to the station tunnel provides access to the Travel Center. All of the railway platforms are also accessible by lifts.

In addition to the waiting areas for bus passengers, the travel center has café and restaurant services, a hostel, a grocery store, a flower kiosk, a barber shop, and a bank. There’s also a ticket vending machine for the railway tickets. The travel centre’s 500-space parking garage is open daily and 24 hours a day.

At the moment baggage storage is provided by Amalia’s Home & Cafe on the railway station side (Asemakatu) of Travel Center during cafe’s opening hours.
