Niirala traffic park in Kuopio

In Niirala Traffic Park, children can learn traffic rules. During the summer, there are instructors on site to guide children in the use of pedal cars and to follow traffic rules. The traffic park is completely free.

A helmet is used when riding and if possible, it is a good idea to bring your own. If necessary, helmets are also available from instructors. Pedal cars can be driven for as long as you want, but during peak times the driving time is limited to 10 minutes to prevent long queues from accumulating.

Outside the opening hours, you can move around in the park on your own, by cycling, scooting or playing on play stands. The traffic lights are on from 9 am to 7:30 pm. The traffic park is located next to Valkeisenpuisto and Kuopio City Theater, about a kilometer from Kuopio Market Square.
