Tahko’s first snow ski track
Tahko´s first snow ski track was opened on Friday, October 11th, 2024, but due to the warm weather, the snow layer has thinned so much that the track can no longer be maintained.
The first snow trail from the bottom of Tahkolahti in the direction of Nilsiä has lights on from dusk until 9PM. The lenght of the trail is about 2km when skied back and forth.
Traditional tracks will run on both sides of the track, making it ideal for both leisure and traditional skiing.
For those arriving by car, it is easiest to drive from Sääskiniementie towards Tahkolahti and leave the car near Tahko’s ticket office in the large P area (Tahkolaaksontie 1).

Ticket prices are fixed, no discounts available. Please take your ticket with you to show to the track supervisor if needed. There is a charge for the first snow ski track until the tracks are officially opened with natural snow.
